Child Development Education (CDE) Credential*  $1199
The Child Development Education Credential has been developed to provide an option for those who are located in a secular setting and who have a character development program in place as part of their daily routine. The CDE Credential requires identification of 18 key values taught throughout the year. The lesson plans required for the portfolio must reflect teaching strategies used to teach values to young children. An Observation Tool, Interview, and Portfolio Review will be used to assess character development curriculum implementation during the Verification Visit. Includes: An annual individual subscription to the CDE Credential Training (120 hours of professional development), CDE Credential Process and Registration Fee Prior to purchasing, you must:

CDA CREDENTIAL TRAINING PROGRAMS


The Child Development Associate (CDA) Training program provides the necessary training that is needed to get your National CDA.  Once the training is complete, you must contact the Council for Professional Recognition to complete the credential.   

Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential Training $269
The Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential Training program is designed for those individuals who are seeking a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential in the Preschool or Family Child Care setting. This program is designed to fulfill the 120 hours of professional development required by the Council for Professional Recognition. It consists of six instructional units aligned to the competencies and content areas required to obtain the National Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential. This program also meets the training requirements for the Florida Child Care Professional Credential.  


Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential Training – Infant/Toddler $269
The Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential Training – Infant/Toddler program is designed for those individuals who are seeking a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential in the Infant/Toddler setting. This program is designed to fulfill the 120 hours of professional development required by the Council for Professional Recognition. It consists of six instructional units aligned to the competencies and content areas required to obtain the National Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential. This program also meets the training requirements for the Florida Child Care Professional Credential.

The CDA Credential Process will require an assessment fee and purchase of the Competency Standards book from the CDA Council.  For more information, please visit the CDA Council.
